Glenn Winternitz, With over 30 years in the auction and appraisal industry, Glenn is a highly
respected entrepreneur with proven leadership, sales and operational skills who successfully ran one
of Chicago’s oldest and most trusted auctioneer and asset appraisal businesses. With its history dating
back four generations to 1894, Winternitz, Inc. was a leading industrial auction and appraisal firm. Glenn
joined the family firm in 1979, and was instrumental in expanding the Winternitz’ customer base, as
well as contributing to the overall growth of the auction and appraisal business. Glenn was president of
Winternitz Inc. prior to the formation of Glenn A. Winternitz, LLC.
He holds the designations of Certified Equipment Appraiser with the Association of Machinery and
Equipment Appraisers (AMEA), Associate Member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), and
Certified Senior Appraiser with the Equipment Appraisers Association of North America (EAANA). He is
a member of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA), the National Auctioneer’s Association
(NAA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Illinois Auctioneers Association. Glenn is
a licensed auctioneer in 20 states.

Gregg Schwartz, President, Asset Exchange Inc., established the corporation in early
2001 shortly after his formation of the Comdisco Manufacturing Solutions Group (NYSE:
CDO). Gregg was recruited by CDO to provide the intellectual property for the creation and
development of what would later be recognized as the fastest emerging start up in the division.
CMS was a technology trading and finance business unit that provided flexible acquisition
solutions, equipment lifecycle management, and disposition strategies to top tier corporations,
helping them increase their return on net asset performance.
Lon Goldman, has a 40-year background in the industrial machine tool business. He has spent
time in both Europe and the U.S. working with major manufacturing concerns on both the
acquisition and disposition of their machine tools and related plant equipment. Lon has been
instrumental in the trade of approximately $100,000,000 of industrial assets. He later acquired
the Norman Levy Company, which grew to be one of the world’s largest industrial auction
houses.
